Projects
The work that San Juan Back Country Horsemen does is far-ranging—from clearing downed trees on the trail to improving trail tread, maintaining horse facilities at trailheads, packing in supplies to trail crews working in remote areas and removing hundreds of pounds of trash from public lands. We want our trails to be enjoyed but also cared for by all who use them. One thing is for certain, there is job security for volunteer groups like San Juan Back Country Horsemen.
As a nonprofit organization, we depend on contributions to fund our various projects. In addition to our generous donors, our members also have spearheaded various fund-raising activities to make meaningful work happen on the ground.
